The high-spec solar installation kit 2 comprises of the following:
There are a few other items that you will usually need to complete the installation - pipe clips, pipe fittings and reducers, solder etc). Some soldering is normally required, although the use of 10mm copper minimises the number of joints and therefore the amount of soldering involved. In fact, it is possible to avoid soldering altogether if compression joints are used throughout.

On a south-facing roof with a short pipe run, this panel is ideal for heating water in our 160 to 210 litre twin coil cylinders. On east/west facing roofs, two of these panels would be required (one on either side). The SFB panel is the best choice for the UK. The panel is considered to be one of the most cost-effective on the market, and performs extremely well in the UK climate. Its slimline design suits UK architecture, and in most cases, it should be considered 'permitted development' - meaning that you do not need to apply for planning permission if you wish to fit these panels to your roof. The SFB panel has a very low heat capacity, containing only 1 - 1.5litres of water inside the manifold. This allows the panel to heat up quickly when the sun starts to shine, and minimises heat losses at night. It is also much lighter than the integrated tank designs, making it much more suitable for load-bearing roof timbers. It should provide you with free hot water for at least 6 months of the year and will strongly contribute thereafter.
It has the following attributes:
The pitched roof mounting kit is suitable for 30 tube solar panels. The kit comprises of:

The four stainless steel roof mounting straps are designed to slide under the roof tiles and screw into the roof joists. One strap attaches to each corner of the frame. These are also suitable for slate roofs.
The TDC3 controller is currently our most popular controller:
It is a high-end controller which allows great flexibility in setup and control of solar systems - it can be used for a single solar panel system with or without variable pump speed control, swimming pools, with heat dumps or switching conventional heating systems, it can be used with two pump East/West twin solar panel systems. In fact, it is equivalent to the Resol BS3, BS4 and BSPro models (although of course, features do vary between the manufacturers). The TDC3 Controller has a high definition screen allowing moving graphics, and all three temperature readings to be displayed simultaneously. It is able to address three temperature sensor inputs and has two relay outputs, including one 'electronic' relay which can provide variable speed control for pumps. There are 15 plumbing schematics, which include twin pump systems, heat dumps, systems for preheating long pipe runs, and generic delta-T control for non-solar applications. Heat Gain is a standard feature, and is estimated from the data inputs and a correction factor (installers usually set this to 0%, although -10% is probably a realistic figure for most installations). The display indicates the total heat gain to date (kWh) and also, when the pump is running, it will display the rate of heat gain (W).
The circulation pump plus isolation valves is a 3-speed circulation pump (approx 40w, 60w, 80w)and a pair of brass ball-valve isolation valves. It is mains powered for solar circuits. The measurements and weight of the pump are:
H - 130mm
H1 - 105mm
L - 130mm
G - 1 - 1.5"
B - 130mm
Net Weight - 2.7kg

The anti syphon valve (15mm)is a one way valve which should be fitted to the return line between the cylinder and the panel, on the cooler side, orientated to prevent convection occurring at night, which would subsequently lose heat from the system.
