Efergy Power Meter
The Efergy meter is a wireless, smart electricity meter that helps you track how much energy you use, which is useful in helping you choose which size wind turbine or solar panel will be most cost effective for you. It can also encourage a reduction in the amount of energy you use, resulting in you saving money for little or no effort. This works because the monitor gives instantly, an accurate reading of how much energy you are consuming.
The Efergy meter tells you every 6 seconds how much power you are consuming, how much money this is costing you and an estimate of your personal contribution to the climate change. If you turn a set of lights on or off, you can see instantly the change this has to your energy use. Once you have this information to hand, it means you, your family, or business, can visually see the benefits of saving energy either through using a renewable energy source or by simply switching off unused electrical items.
The data is stored daily in an easy to access CPU memory so you can actually see the effects of your changing energy habits. Comparing day-to-day usage gives you direct feedback of how daily changes of habit toward energy use can have an effect on costs. Also it estimates one's personal contribution to climate change in terms of carbon emissions.

The Efergy pack comprises four modest components:
- A square, portable display monitor, measuring only 85mm x 85mm.
- A sensor which clips effortlessly to a specific cable beneath the electricity meter.
- The transmitter which wirelessly passes on the information to the monitor.
- Velcro pads for securing the transmitter.
