300W Portable Wind Turbine
The 300w portable wind turbine (model: FD2.5-300) is lightweight and suitable for mounting on scaffold tubes or one of our optional towers. It is designed for easy assembly and dismantling, so that it can be used on-site at exhibitions/shows and whilst caravaning/camping etc.
It is available as a 12V, 24V or 48V model.
The following items make up the 300W Portable Wind Turbine kit:
- Turbine.
- 3 Blades.
- A Fin and Tail.
- 2 Tail Flanges.
- A Hub.
- A Nose Cone.
- A Set of Bolts, Nuts and Washers.

We recommend you connect the turbine directly to the battery bank and use a Diversion Load Controller and Dump Loads (all of which we can supply - see other products). The internal regulator will independently monitor the battery and charge as necessary.
Note: The amount of batteries required will depend on the output voltage of the turbine and the load being supplied.
The 300w portable wind turbine can supply about 50kWh of energy per month where the average wind speed is 12m/s per day and valid wind hours are 210h per month. Below is a typical power curve for the 300w portable wind turbine:
