1700W Grid Tie Inverter
These G83-certified grid connection inverters allow electrical power generation equipment such as wind turbines and solar panels to be connected directly to the National Grid to export surplus electricity, for which you can get paid an attractive rate.
2009 sees the introduction of double ROCs (renewable obligation certificates) - which means that microgeneration electricity exported to the grid qualifies for an ROC payment of approximately 9p/kWh on top of the electricity price (which can mean 20p/kWh is possible).
The Sunny Boy 1700 completes our portfolio of inverters for the medium power range. Its input voltage range of up to 400V makes it the optimal choice for PV generators with an output of around 2 kWp.
